This was a retrospective painting as Gyp sadly died 3 years ago. Using a selection of photos provided by her owners we worked together to help me get a clear idea as to who Gyp was and what kind of portrait would best capture her personality. A lovely playful dog Gyp would sleep on the azure blanket, and I added here the hem of a 16th Century Flemish tapestry owned by her owner at his request. Nothing is impossible, I'll work with you to make your perfect portrait.
